The Heart Behind AnnamariaFest
This event was born out of an unbreakable bond between a father and his daughter, and a shared love for live music, big energy, and unforgettable rock concerts.
Annamaria was a brilliant, passionate, and dedicated 10th-grade honors English teacher at Boiling Springs High School. She spent her days helping young people find their voices, think deeply, and discover the power of great storytelling. She brought heart, intellect, and creativity to her classroom every single day.
But when the school bell rang, Annamaria was a true rock fan through and through. If there was a great concert in town—especially if her favorite band, Def Leppard, was playing—you could count on her being right there in the crowd, soaking in the music.
In 2024, our lives were forever shattered when a sudden tragedy took Annamaria from us. The silence left behind was deafening. But the love a father has for his daughter never fades, and the light she brought into this world refuses to be put out.
AnnamariaFest is our way of channeling that immense love into something beautiful, loud, and lasting.
Literature and rock music share the exact same heart—they are both about passion, storytelling, and feeling things deeply.
By bringing our community together for an incredible night of rock and country music, we are keeping Annamaria’s exact energy alive.
